Sanctioned events other people have brought to the club's home course.
April 2024
An evening C-Tier at Majette. Run by Tyler Searle.
June 2018
A National Grandmasters Tour qualifier at Majette, two years before the course's redesign and before the club ran sanctioned events of its own. Run by Tyler Searle.
Events we've run in the past. Some were of their moment — a club finding its feet, or a county putting itself back together after Hurricane Michael.
MLK weekend, 2020–2024
The club's season-opening tournament, run every MLK weekend from 2020 through 2024. Retired — the January league kickoff carries the season opener now.
Summer, 2020–2023
Three rounds across three layouts in one day, raising money for the HOPE Project. Retired after the 2023 running.
February 2024
A one-off the club ran as the Bay County Disc Golf Flying Circus: a morning round and an afternoon round on two different courses, one of them out in Freeport.
February 2023
A Super Bowl Saturday flex start at Majette, run by Richard Higbee: first card out at 8 a.m., last card out by 3 p.m., everybody home before kickoff.
August 2023
A one-off at Under the Oaks, run by Richard Higbee. Your entry bought two mystery discs, and those two plus your own putter were the only discs you were allowed to throw all day.
August (2018–2019)
A putter-only par 2 on the FSU Panama City campus course — the event that put the young club on the map.
March 2020 — cancelled
A 24-hole temporary course spread across the adjacent FSU Panama City and Gulf Coast State College campuses. It would have been the largest temporary-course event in Northwest Florida.
May 2019
A walking putting tour of St. Andrews, run to keep the community together while the county's courses were still out of commission after Hurricane Michael.
Our event history is still being pieced together — many runnings aren't listed yet. If you have results, photos, or just remember a year we're missing, tell us and we'll add it.
